possess some quality that stays with you long after you close the book.
They continue to haunt you precisely because they are so visceral and
intensely emotional. . . . These images also confront us with the realization
that these conditions may be, in some small part, consequences of our
own decisions. Thus aware, perhaps we will be moved to action.” The artist currently lives in Cambridge, a small town in rural Wisconsin, where she has produced her latest work; she often uses local residents as models for her art. |
