                             Announcement



Since 1975, Word, Inc., headquartered in Irving, TX, has maintained a

long-term recording relationship with Mike Warnke. The relationship has

resulted in the production and distribution of 13 products including

two concert videos. Of those 13 products only one, Mike Warnke Alive

(1976), focuses exclusively on Mike Warnke's previous role as a

satanist high priest and his past involvement in satanic activities.

His videos -- Do You Hear Me? (1989) and Out Of My Mind (1991) --

fuse excerpts from his concert comedy routines with portions of the

gospel message he provides during each public performance. His

remaining products are comedy recordings incorporating comic treatments

of a variety of topics.



Warnke's products pioneered the field of Christian comedy. Word, Inc.

has always recognized the unique, and sometimes misunderstood, nature

of Christian comedy. As the leader in this area, Mike Warnke has

endured criticism. However, his effective use of storytelling,

exaggerations, and short vignettes, in concert and on recorded

products, has provided many Christians a forum for expressing

themselves and understanding human shortcomings. The popularity of his

recordings has steadily increased and many people have been impacted by

the message of Jesus Christ which Warnke communicates on each

recording.



The observation of his concerts by company personnel, coupled with

feedback from the many persons positively affected by Mike Warnke's

products, has continually encouraged Word, Inc. in our relationship

with him. In response to recent allegations of the integrity of Mike

Warnke's ministry, Word, Inc. met with Mike and conducted follow-up on

the areas in question. Information the company received reinforces our

confidence in his ministry. We are pleased to be associated with Mike

Warnke, recognizing the strength of his ministry, and that our

partnership with him has opened up new avenues for reaching people for

Christ.
