                          LETTER OF REFERENCE



To Whom It May Concern:



     As former executive editor of Logos International Fellowship and

Bridge Publishing, Inc. and present managing editor of Victory House,

Inc., it has been my privilege to know and work with Mike Warnke for

twenty years.



     In the early days of our relationship, I worked closely with

Viola Malachuk who served as editor on The Satan Seller project.

She was a scrupulous editor who gave close attention to detail and

factual accuracy in the editing of manuscripts.  It is my understanding

that she, and all of our colleagues, gave careful attention to these

matters in the production of The Satan Seller.



     Since 1985, I have worked as managing editor of Victory House,

Inc.  In this capacity I have worked closely with Mike in the

production of two books -- Schemes of Satan and Recovering From Divorce.

As his editor and friend, I have greatly appreciated Mike's honesty,

compassion and sense of responsibility.



     Mike is a man who loves other people, especially those who are

hurting.  He is able to reach out to others with the love of God.

He is not afraid to admit his mistakes, and this quality makes him

very vulnerable.  Without any reservation, I know that Mike Warnke

has repented of his failures.  He is walking in the love of God.

He seeks only to please Him.



     While working with Mike on Schemes of Satan, I learned about the

veil of secrecy that covers the activities of most satanists and many

occultists.  To me, therefore, it is not surprising that some of Mike's

earlier friends had no awareness of his darker side.



     God is doing a new work in Mike Warnke's life.  Through all that

he has gone through -- both mistakes and victories -- God has been

faithful.  Mike's capacity to trust God has greatly increased and

his anointing for ministry is more compellingly powerful and effective

than ever.  The future for Mike Warnke's ministry is radiantly bright

because God is able to use a broken vessel to bring glory and honor

to His name.



     Let us remember to hold Mike and Rose Hall Warnke in our

prayers, for in so doing we will keep our focus in the right place --

on the One who seeks to redeem every situation.  Jesus said, "By

this shall all men know that you are my disciples, by your love for

one another."  Mike Warnke is a disciple of Jesus who richly bears

the fruit of the love of God in his life and ministry.
